Colorectal cancer is the 3rd most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the U.S. β€” and the 2nd leading cause of cancer-related deaths. In fact, it is the leading cause of cancer death in younger adults. That is likely because in adults under 50, 75% of these cancers are diagnosed at advanced stages.

But here’s what’s powerful:

The American Cancer Society now recommends starting screening at age 45, but earlier if you have family history or risk factors.
