About Dr. Nicole Tully
My name is Nicole Tully, MD and for almost 20 years, I have focused on Women’s Health and followed women throughout the course of their lives. The focus of my practice is to provide comprehensive and compassionate medical care for women starting in adolescence and continuing through menopause into their golden years. My greatest passion is helping women during transformational times in their lives including pregnancy and the postpartum period as well as perimenopause and the menopausal transition. I follow a holistic approach to patient care. I explore traditional as well as non-traditional treatment options, using evidence-based medicine to guide my recommendations and seeking to treat each patient as the unique individual that they are for multiple medical issues.

If winter makes you more tired, more emotional, and less motivated, or just not yourself, it could be SAD.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a real form of depression tied to reduced sunlight, sleep disruption, and hormone changes.
The good news? It’s treatable!
You can support your SAD through:
1. Light therapy
2. Movement
3. Healthy diet
4. Consistent sleep routines
5. Mental health care
Small changes can make a real difference. You don’t have to suffer through the season.
Schedule a visit at TullyMD and let us help you support your mood, hormones, energy, and sleep - not just survive winter, but feel stronger through it.
✨ The holidays are filled with joy, parties, and pours, but your body keeps score.
Alcohol doesn’t just affect your liver. Research shows that regular alcohol intake is linked to shorter lifespan, with stronger evidence showing no true longevity benefit, even at low levels. Heavy or frequent drinking clearly increases the risk of cancer, heart disease, poor sleep, and metabolic dysfunction.
For women, the impact can be even more noticeable. Alcohol affects hormones, sleep quality, gut health, mood, and blood sugar, especially with fluctuating estrogen and cortisol.
This season isn’t about restriction…it’s about awareness.
Drink if you choose, but be thoughtful about it. Support your body by:
1️⃣ Eating before you drink
2️⃣ Hydrating between drinks
3️⃣ Choosing low-sugar options
4️⃣ Stopping before your body says “enough”
5️⃣ Prioritizing sleep and recovery
Need help navigating alcohol, hormones, sleep, mood, and overall wellness during the busy season?
✨ Schedule a consultation at TullyMD.

Wishing you a joyful and healthy holiday season! As we close out the year, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my patients for allowing TullyMD to be part of their health journey. I look forward to walking alongside you in the new year as we continue prioritizing your wellness.
To my colleagues, thank you so much for helping me care for such amazing women.
May this season bring you all peace, warmth, and moments of rest.
With appreciation,
Dr. Nicole Tully
🎄 Holiday Guilt: What’s Really Happening and Why Now Is the Time to Prioritize Your Health 🎄
So many women feel holiday guilt…guilt about food choices, missed workouts, feeling overwhelmed, or not keeping up with routines. But from a medical standpoint, the guilt and stress themselves are far more harmful than a few days of celebration.
Here’s what’s actually going on in your body:
1️⃣ Your body is built to adapt, not break.
Short-term changes don’t undo your metabolism or hormones. Health is created through long-term habits, not holiday perfection.
2️⃣ Stress + guilt disrupt your physiology.
Increased cortisol affects sleep, cravings, inflammation, and mood.
Joy, rest, and connection actively support your nervous system and hormonal health.
3️⃣ Restriction creates the guilt-overeat cycle.
Labeling foods as “good” or “bad” increases guilt and dysregulates metabolism.
A non-restrictive approach helps stabilize hormones and eating patterns.
4️⃣ Rest is essential, not optional.
Recovery supports immunity, adrenal health, and emotional well-being, especially during a demanding season.
✨ Where TullyMD Comes In
My concierge model is built around one philosophy:
Your health deserves to be a priority, not an afterthought.
For many women, the holidays highlight how far down the list their health has fallen and it becomes the perfect time to catch up, reset, and finally put themselves first.
At TullyMD, that means:
• Thorough evaluations of hormones, metabolism, stress, and sleep
• Longer, unrushed visits to truly understand your health
• Personalized plans that fit your real life, including busy seasons
• Support that focuses on compassion and evidence, not guilt
• A whole-person approach that helps you feel grounded heading into a new year
💛 If you’ve been putting your health off, this season can be the moment you shift from guilt to empowerment.
Your body is resilient and you deserve care that reflects that!

Healthy during holidays
The holidays can be a stressful time. Full of schedules, large food plates, and glasses. But your body still needs support.
Staying healthy during the holidays is not about perfection; it is about simple habits that protect your sleep, hormones, digestion, and energy.
Small choices made consistently can create big results, even in December.
Want personalized support for your hormones, sleep, gut, energy, or immune system this season? Schedule a visit at TullyMD and start the new year stronger!
✨ A gentle reminder from TullyMD ✨
As we head into the end of the year, it’s the perfect time to check in on your health, your wellbeing, and the care you’ve been putting off.
Many patients don’t realize that FSA/HSA dollars often expire or reset at the end of the year.
Did you know that roughly 44–48% of workers with FSAs forfeit at least part of their contributions in a given year. And on average, people who forfeit lose about $339–$408 per year.
If you’ve been thinking about booking a visit, updating your labs, starting a new treatment, or finally getting answers about your symptoms… this is your sign.
At TullyMD, our focus is on comprehensive, compassionate, women-centered care, making sure your health never falls through the cracks. 💛
Your wellness matters, and you deserve time, space, and support to care for yourself.
✨ Use your FSA/HSA benefits before they expire
✨ Schedule your preventive or follow-up visit
✨ Invest in your health now. Your future self will thank you!

Postpartum Myth-Busting!
The fourth trimester is full of surprises, and it comes with its share of myths too. Let’s set the record straight:
1. Breastfeeding isn’t instinctive for everyone. There’s a learning curve. It’s stressful at the start, middle and end. And it’s ok to as for help if you wonder this if this is the best option for you and your baby.
2. Your postpartum journey won’t look like anyone else’s, healing is unique, non-linear, and personal.
3. Struggling doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful. Postpartum pain and mental health challenges are real, valid and all too common.
At TullyMD, we support new moms with personalized care, guidance, and a safe space to navigate this season. You don’t have to do it alone. 💛 You deserve support every step of the way.

🍲Don’t skip meals — your body needs fuel now more than ever.

Pelvic floor dysfunction after pregnancy is so much more common than most women realize. You don’t have to “just live with it.”
Whether you’re weeks, months, or years postpartum, symptoms like bladder leaks, pelvic pressure, pain with intimacy, or feeling “unsupported” in your core are signs your pelvic floor needs attention.
It is time that you stop ignoring it or feel embarrassed about it. Especially when there is help.
As a concierge women’s health provider, I take a whole-person, whole-body approach. Your pelvic floor isn’t just about muscles. It’s connected to your hormones, your sleep, your stress, your delivery history, and the overall demands of motherhood.
At TullyMD, we focus on in individualized care:
• Understanding why your symptoms are happening
• Working with pelvic floor specialist to discuss treatment plans
• Hormonal evaluation when appropriate
• Guidance on core recovery and movement
• Close, supportive follow-up. No rushing, no dismissing
Your postpartum body deserves patience, expertise, and care that actually listens. You don’t need to wait for things to get “bad enough.” Healing is possible, and support is here.
If you’re struggling with pelvic floor symptoms, you’re not alone. You deserve a plan that works for you. Call TullyMD today at (201) 241-2626 to schedule a consultation to evaluate your pelvic floor and any other postpartum concerns that you have. ✨ Big news in women’s health ✨
The FDA has announced that it will remove the highest-level (“black box”) warning labels from many menopause hormone therapies (HRT). This is a major shift in how we think about menopause care.
What this means:
• Treatments for symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats, sleep disruption + bone health issues now reflect newer science, not fear.
• New guidance highlights that starting therapy within 10 years of menopause or before age 60 may offer the greatest benefit
• Risks still need to be reviewed carefully and treatment must be personalized for each patient
Why this matters at TullyMD:
As a concierge women’s health physician who is one of few Menopause Society Menopause Certified Physician Providers, Dr. Nicole Tully takes the time to understand the whole picture: hormones, metabolism, stress, sleep, nutrition, family history, and your personal goals.
🌸 This holistic review allows her to create individualized, evidence-based HRT plans that truly fit each patient’s life and physiology.
💛 No rushed visits. No one-size-fits-all approach.
Just thoughtful, personalized menopause care grounded in science and real-world wellness.
This new FDA update finally aligns with what menopause-informed clinicians like Dr. Tully have practiced for years:
✨ Women deserve accurate information, options, and care that evolves with the evidence.
If you’re navigating perimenopause or menopause and wondering whether HRT is right for you, TullyMD offers the kind of individualized, supportive guidance every woman deserves.

💗 Let’s Talk About the Baby Blues 💗
Bringing your baby home is beautiful… But it can also feel overwhelming.
Many new moms are surprised when the joy they expected is mixed with tears, worry, or unexpected sadness.
If this sounds familiar, please know: you are not alone.
Nearly 8 in 10 new mothers experience what we call the “baby blues,” a wave of emotions that can come and go in those first days after birth. It’s your body and heart adjusting to incredible change. 💞
You might find yourself crying easily, feeling anxious, or just “not like yourself.” These feelings usually fade within a couple of weeks.
But if your sadness feels heavy, lasts longer than two weeks, or makes it hard to care for yourself or your baby, it may be more than the baby blues.
Postpartum depression is common and treatable. You might notice:
🌧️ Persistent sadness or hopelessness
🌧️ Loss of interest or joy in things you used to love
🌧️ Trouble sleeping (even when the baby sleeps)
🌧️ Feeling anxious, guilty, or overwhelmed
🌧️ Thoughts of harming yourself or feeling like your family would be better off without you
If any of these sound familiar, it’s time to reach out. There is no shame in asking for help. You deserve to feel supported and cared for. 💛
At TullyMD Concierge Women’s Health, we walk beside you through every stage of motherhood, from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond. You are not alone, and you will get through this with help, care, and time.
💗 You’re doing better than you think. And we’re here for you, always.

🍁 It’s fall! And you know what that means… open enrollment season is here!
As you review your insurance options, this is the perfect time to make sure your plan aligns with your health goals, especially if you’re considering concierge OB/GYN care.
✨ Here’s what many people don’t realize:
Concierge medicine may be more attainable than you think. If you’re choosing a plan, look for one with out-of-network benefits. PPOs plans often offer the flexibility for your health care needs.
💳 And if you have an HSA or FSA, those pre-tax dollars can help cover eligible medical expenses like labs, ultrasounds, and certain procedures, making personalized care even more accessible.
At TullyMD Concierge Medicine, we believe healthcare should feel personal, proactive, and centered around you.Choosing the right plan now means year-round access to the care you deserve.
💛 Have questions about insurance, HSAs, or how concierge care fits into your coverage? We’re here to help you navigate it all, so you can focus on what really matters: your health and peace of mind.

🌸💫 World Menopause Day 💫🌸
Today we’re shining a light on a stage of life that every woman experiences, yet too often, it’s misunderstood or ignored.
Menopause isn’t just about hot flashes. It can bring brain fog, anxiety, sleep disruption, weight changes, joint pain, vaginal dryness, and mood shifts. These symptoms that can affect every part of a woman’s life.
🔹 85% of women will experience menopause symptoms.
🔹 Every day, 6,000 women in the U.S. enter menopause.
🔹 Fewer than 20% of OB/GYN residency programs offer menopause training. It is estimated that in the US, there are less than 2000 menopause certified providers. This means that many women can’t find qualified providers who truly understand their needs.
That has to change.
Women deserve to be heard, believed, and supported through every stage of midlife.
You are not “just aging.” You are evolving and you deserve care that evolves with you. 🌷
At TullyMD Women’s Health Concierge Medicine, we specialize in personalized, evidence-based care for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. We take the time to listen, explain, and partner with you, so you can feel like yourself again!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀
Breast cancer touches so many of us — our patients, families, and friends. Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in the U.S. during their lifetime. Every two minutes, someone is diagnosed with breast cancer. We also forget that it can affect men as well.
Early detection truly saves lives. The five-year survival rate for localized breast cancer is about 99%.
At TullyMD, we believe that awareness and prevention save lives. I encourage every woman to stay proactive. Take time to schedule your mammogram, know your family history, and speak up about any breast changes you notice. Your health and peace of mind matter.
This month, we honor those who have fought, those still fighting, and those we’ve lost. 💗 Let’s continue to raise awareness, support one another, and keep the conversation going — not just in October, but all year long. 💕

It’s Not Just About Hotflashes!
💥She thought it was arthritis. I suspected something else.
🌀Joint pain. Weight gain. Exhaustion. Insomnia.
She said, “I feel like a shell of myself.”
I’ve known this woman for years. She was driven, energetic, a “sleep is for the weak” type. Suddenly, she was sidelined by symptoms she couldn’t explain. She’d stopped exercising, couldn’t sleep, and was convinced something was seriously wrong.
It wasn’t arthritis.
It was perimenopause.
💊Two weeks on HRT with an estrogen patch + oral progesterone and she’s sleeping again. Her joint pain is nearly gone. She’s back to herself.
Menopause doesn’t hit everyone the same way. But when it does?
It’s not just hot flashes.
It can sneak up as fatigue, bloating, mood swings, aches, and more.

What Doctors Should Be Telling You About Perimenopause and Menopause- But Aren’t… Is Medicine Failing Women?
If you’re in your 30s, 40s or 50s and experiencing brain fog, sleep disruption, anxiety, or stubborn weight gain, it might not be aging. It might be perimenopause...and chances are, no one’s told you.
As a board-certified women’s health physician and certified menopause specialist, I’ve seen how often women are misdiagnosed, ignored, or told to just “wait it out.”
Here’s the truth:
Perimenopause can start in your late 30s
Symptoms are real, even if your labs look “normal”
Most doctors aren’t trained to treat it
There are effective options beyond antidepressants
In my concierge practice at TullyMD, I provide longer visits, personalized care, and real support for women navigating hormonal change. We go beyond quick fixes to protect your heart, brain, bones, and help you feel like yourself again.
